Day 1: Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree Camp)
Elevation: 2,100m to 2,820m | Distance: 6 km | Hiking Time: 3–4 hours
Habitat: Montane Rainforest
After a comprehensive briefing and registration at Londorossi Gate, begin your trek through the lush, dense rainforest. Keep your eyes open for Black and White Colobus monkeys and exotic birds as you ascend to Big Tree Camp for dinner and your first night under the stars.
Day 2: Mti Mkubwa to Shira 1 Camp
