Embark on an extraordinary journey up Mount Kilimanjaro via the 6-Day Rongai Route, the only established trail approaching the mountain from the serene northern side near the Kenyan border. Renowned for its quiet wilderness, low crowds, and breathtaking panoramic views, Rongai offers a peaceful alternative to the busier southern routes.
Because the northern slopes stay much drier, this route is one of the best options year-round, even during rainy seasons. The path features a steady, gentle incline as it crosses pine forests, open moorlands, and the dramatic alpine desert between Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. Supported by our expert mountain guides, skilled cooks, and porters, you’ll enjoy a smooth, safe, and exhilarating trek all the way to Uhuru Peak (5,895m)!
