Conquer Mount Kilimanjaro via the magnificent 7-Day Rongai Route, the only official trail that approaches Africa’s highest peak from the quiet, untouched northern side near the Kenyan border. Known for its moderate wilderness trail, low foot traffic, and breathtaking landscapes, the Rongai Route is ideal for trekkers seeking a peaceful yet rewarding adventure.
Because the northern slopes receive significantly less rainfall, Rongai is the best choice during wet seasons. Designed with a dedicated acclimatization day at Mawenzi Tarn Camp, this 7-day itinerary gives your body ample time to adjust to high altitudes, maximizing your chances of reaching Uhuru Peak (5,895m). Enjoy pristine wilderness, views of Mount Kenya and the Mawenzi Jagged Peaks, and top-class support from our certified mountain team.
Why Choose The Rongai Route?
